Encompass and Orchestra acquire Handoff app to tap into direct-to-consumer market

Alcohol delivery startup joins forces with beverage industry tech leaders to connect the supply chain all the way from suppliers to consumers.

Newly combined technology providers, Encompass Technologies + Orchestra Software announced today they have acquired Denver-based alcohol delivery startup, Handoff. This acquisition furthers the company’s mission to digitally connect all tiers of the beverage industry, from first ingredients to last sip. Encompass and Orchestra announced their merger on October 16th, making this their second big announcement in the last month.

Orchestra’s robust ERP system empowers suppliers while seamlessly connecting to Encompass’ route accounting offering for distributors. Further connecting the industry is DSDLink– the Encompass-based online ordering app for retailers. The acquisition of Handoff completes the supplier-to-consumer solution suite with its direct-to-consumer alcohol delivery platform.
